Google Chrome browser has been beta released

Finally did the browser from Google (Google Chrome) enter the market, which I have been waiting for! And it surprise me very well, it's very fast, quick loading and KISS "Keep it simple stupid", Which I like very much.

The interface is very simple and clean, none dummy buttons you don't need anyway, and I prefer to install my customizations anyway, so a clean install, should be very CLEAN, like this Google Chrome browser.

The new browser is a beta version, BETA is of cause one of the most used word from google, but they always end up with a very nice and successful product. As a developer I now got a new enemy, for CSS and code validation, but as far I can see, it got very nice acid test results, which is absolutely great! Google Chrome browser has already got some nice feedback's and test result, such as the speed test, javascript loading and quite user-friendly, because it's so simple.

You can watch some of the reactions and test by the links below.

Here is another link to a Google Chrome browser review, where you can find more pictures of this release..

Beside the nice browser application, has Google also created some nice development tools for the webdevelopers. They already has a embedded Javascript debugger, an advance console where it's possible to see the different loads in each items in the specific page, and the original source viewer with colour formatted text, that's awsome for a first public beta release.

If youre interested in some of the faqs for developers you can read it on their helping page.

Now I'm just looking forward for a final release, with all bug fixed and plugin support, I really miss my Mozilla Firefox plugins in the new browser.

I concur .. Google chrome has some nice features - but it'll be a while before it tages a piece of the market.

But defenently my number #1 choice .. currently..

But still can't get rid of IE since 80+ users still use this ..

I totally agree Jonas.

First of all, IE 6.0 users, go away, we need some PNG support for all browsers, which IE 6 still wont allow us to use. Because many people still haven't updated browser engine.

But btw, I already have found some problems using Google Chrome, e.c. yesterday, when i was on a interactice flash website, and should load some pictures, I couldn't point at the right one's because of the different positions in the flash object, it's a little bit hard to explain, but it works very well on all other browsers, maybe just another beta bug :-)
