After some month of researching for a new Multimedia center, I finally did found something interesting, the Acer AspireRevo is a great pick! Read about my first impressions and experience with it.

Since NVIDIA did release the first news, about their ION Geforce 9400 netbook graphic card, which can handle 10 times better performance, as the current netbooks graphic cards, and that's quite amazing.

UK/USA was the first to enjoy the new Revo machine, and the first impressions was very nice. And the specs of it, did meet my expectations for a Home Cineme system very well. The ultra-slim desktop PC is small, easy to handle and got a nice clean look, but still has a lot of options, such as 6 USB inputs and esata connector.

For a novice person this can be a little bit tricky to setup, but if just need an office, internet and light game computer, this is a good choice. I choose this computer, because I did want to have a well known operation system, like Windows Vista, which is very easy for me to setup and manage, mostly because i can use the desktop as a server, like a video streaming or a FTP server. This Acer AspireRevo is a great solution for a 24/7 computer, which is available, all the time through remote desktop or a FTP access.

When you watch the pictures below, you will see how simple it is, to get a nice desktop computer, with one-touch start setup system, and packed with mouse and keyboard, ready for attaching quickly to theflat-screen or computer monitor. The first thing the computer dos after pressing the start button is to install Windows Vista Home Premium, with the settings you would like, it's very simple, and I just like the Simplicity within the machine already!

Here is my first Acer Revo gallery, from box to table..

Great post, Daniel. The Acer Revo is great as a Media Center PC - I wrote a post on how I did it - http://www.microsoftnow.com/2009/12/setting-up-windows-7-media-center.html
